The Start of a New Journey

Hey guys!

I’m not sure how many people will read this, but I’m excited to be starting on this journey. I have always wanted to be an inspirational aspect in at least one person’s life, and with this blog, I am hoping to reach someone or someones whom I can help in any kind of way I can.

So, here’s some things about me:

First and foremost, I am a child of God. I believe in Jesus Christ and I always will. I will be posting a lot of bible verses and speaking about what they mean to me. I will also be sharing my personal testimonies. Other things to know about me are I love to read, I go to college at Roanoke College in Virginia, my major is Communication Studies and I am minoring in Sociology. I go to church at St. John Baptist Church in Forest, Va. I have experienced a lot in my almost 19 years on this Earth, but I don’t claim to know it all. In fact, there is a lot that I don’t know. But, I count this as a blessing and I am always eager to gain more knowledge. I like to write, but I enjoy editing even more. Yes, I am a grammar Nazi 🙂

Something to keep in mind: I don’t have it all together. It is a lot easier to give encouragement and smile for others than it is to take your own advice and smile for yourself. But hopefully, with this blog, I can also begin to start taking some of my own advice and live to be better person because ultimately, that is my everyday goal. To be better.
